Nyadi - Phidi Hydropower Project 21.4 MW
The Nyadi-Phidi hydropower project is a Run-of-River (RoR) project identified in Lamjung district of Gandaiki Province. The project utilizes discharges from both Nyadi and Phidi Rivers and its topographic head for the energy production. Two headworks are proposed to trap river water from Nyadi and Phidi River respectively. The headworks at Nyadi River lies in Jaluchhe and Bhaundanda , Marshyangdi Rural municipality at an elevation of 2948.90 masl while as secondary headworks is proposed at Phidi River at Chepebagar of Bhulbhule ,Marshyangdi rural municipality at an elevation of 3014 masl. The powerhouse of the project lies at upstream of confluence between Nyadi and Phidi River.
